Y'all want that? I could organize it but only if there's a demand for it. Would tie in with the exchange nicely tbh
tkay is multitalented as f***. this ep is so good and shook has the best hook of the summer. no skippable songs whatsoever.

Noted I'll think on it
finally after the long ass tease 🙈 @Goo @atthepyramids
so she just going to go straight into it right after the intro huh? that title track is life
that delivery on You >>>
The beat makes me want to jump lol crazy energy. The kicks and percs were so on point 🔥
I Get Lonely is like the song you should play if you wanna put anyone onto RnB this is the genre in all its beauty.
'Joni Mitchell never lies' Q-Tip is just outstanding man, goat artist! Loved his contribution to the album.
The sampling on this album is also something I really liked.
The Diana Ross and Marvin samples/interpolations on My Need were fire! So much funk piercing through the production and most of the songs sound like and have been party anthems.
Together Again pop vibes great writing on that one and the interlude before it too. In fact all the interludes are well done on Janet's albums and serve a necessary background for the songs which I like.
other faves: Tonight's The Night; Rope Burn; Anything; Special
Literally no bad songs on this album

My fav Janet album
Starting to appreciate this record more, first two albums will always have sentimental value. Think this was a mature offering from Kevin and the lyrical content of this album is still able to resonate with me as most of his tracks do
Better than I was expecting though at times felt like I was hearing SZA but that's high praise

The actual song Beetlejuice is otherworldly
Love what I’m hearing from Mariah, Abby Jasmine, Pip Millet and Ojerime
Roses Gabor and Amber Olivier too. So much good R&B out
big chunes here
Raheem >
Do you have any recommendations from that era? I’m going to relisten to Teedra Moses’ Cognac & Conversation and Something About Faith in the morning, but I’d love to hear something new

That song is what drew me in so good!

Gaelle - Transient
Mýa - Moodring
Jaheim - Ghetto Classics
Transient one of the most underappreciated RnB albums imo
Maybe you'll find something you haven't heard among those? Didn't want to add to many popular stuff like Back II Basics and Ain't Nothin' Like Me but that's spot on in terms of things that sound good from that era.
Noted I'll think on it
low key can i take this idea, will make post tmw about it
i reckon it should be seperate from this since we not particular reviewing music unlike the album exchange which about reviewing music
