@EuroNymous
man what the f***.i watched the whole live set on youtube. i started crying as soon as the curtains rose as the snow/white leaves fell on her and her music box. such a beautiful image, i was in shock at how legendary this performance is. its literally classic like 3 seconds in. thats the bjork effect. shes is one of the only musicians that makes me actually shed tears from her voice and presence.
her vocal performance on literally every song is something never before heard by mankind unless it was from bjork herself. i deadass had a transcendent experience to all is full of love. i mean holy f***ing s***. such command of her vocals. you see literally everyone on stage wit a smile on their face knowing they are taking part of something and working with someone that is 1/1.
the harpist was f***in amazing. she was shredding that s*** like it was a guitar. even bjork had to give props on stage after her solo track (i forgot which one, it was towards the beginning)
another stand out moment was when the performed cocoon. how she managed to make that big ass opera house into some intimate sanctuary with the power of her voice was legendary. and those 2 producers making the static fx by rubbing on eachother lovingly with a mic. like how genius can a person get?
the crowd was awesome too, everytime the cam was toward them you see people with huge smiles, whispering to each other basking in bjorks greatness. some ppl gave her a standing ovation for every song lmfao.
shes a master of vocal perfomance and a true goddess of music. im getting a bjork related tat as my first cause of this
10/10 masterpiece. cant stress it enough.

Deadass just found this in my car but I guess I just put it here when I was smacked af and forgot about it. I never even remember seeing this before tho...and nobody else drives this car lol
Looks like a classic right there
SWANS ARE DEAD BY SWANS
Ive never heard of this band before so thanks for putting me on. Im just going to write down some my impressions.
Feel Happiness: love the 13 minutes intro. I can feel the anticipation build.
Low Life Form sounds very o*****ic. Those cymbals were hitting hard.
Not Alone is drum heavy which I love but it got a little repetitive. I hate criticizing repetition in songs because they often serve a purpose, but a lot of their songs (especially towards the end of the album) carry the same instrumentals throughout with very little twists. Maybe Im just used to modern music where every song has 25 layers and unexpected arrangements. This is a pure rock approach which I can appreciate.
The woman singing has an enchanting voice.
The Sound is so epic and that scream at the end, wow! Probably my favorite.
I expected this to be Hard Rock but I found it to be very chill and moody. The drummer and the guitarist were the highlights of most of the songs. Overall I enjoyed this a lot and a lot of parts grabbed my attention. After reading about them, it sounds like To Be Kind is an amazing album. I’m checking that out next. 8/10
forgot to review your album to so here goes.
very familiar with sade, incredible singer, but ive never dove in a full album of her’s so this was a treat. pretty good album all around but i’m still stoked on audience reactions when it comes to live albums. they really rake in the atmosphere of a live album, and i don’t think they do a very good job of it, more of a distraction for me. sade however steals the show for me, for the most part. kiss of life and soldier of love are my favs. sade is probably better live than in studio from the looks of it. def an 8 for me

to be kind and this album are 2 somewhat distinct albums, definitely gotta have an open mind for those for the most part.
Before i review this i never heard jazz record in full
I really like this quite a lot. The band which plays to this lively life performance is alive and have tonnes energy that i would expect from jazz record. The first three songs were really enjoyable found myself bopping around to those tracks especially "Games". I had to clap after that song because i enjoyed as much as the crowd did. The members also know how to get the crowd interested into as you heard lots of clapping, chanting and overall excitement which might have actually scratched that itched of that live concert experience that i miss so much (I actually might just see jazz concert for heck of it one day just experience something like this). I didn't find the last 3 tracks as intersting but oh well still a great listen
8.5/10
@Notmyfirst I liked the album. Always seen AIC mentioned in the same breath as PJ, Nirvana & Soundgarden for the 90s Grunge wave but never got to checking them out. This was quite a great introduction. Will definitely get around to some of their studio records now. Voice was grating to me at the start but grew to like it as the album went on. Really loved the guitar work on it too.
Fav song: Nutshell
