Some of the bars a little off putting in 2020 (Beautiful Skin is just hard to listen to lol) but overall it’s definitely at least a 8/10. Beats are the epitome of southern rap and the flows are just crazy
What y’all favorite roots albums? Listening to undun rn, just finished things fall apart

definitely Things Fall Apart and Illadelph Halflife
was expecting something f***ed up but man this was a tough listen. s*** makes hacker by death grips sound like pink + white by frank. honestly way too hard to give it a rating because i'm just kind of sitting here dumbfounded by it. it was less of a listen and more of a 90-minute test of how much screaming and harsh noise i could endure. listened to it alone at 1am in my apartment and def felt like listening to this summoned ghosts into my crib or some s***.
the cool thing about albums like this is when it takes a more mellow route it stands out way more, and having the closer, "christ among the broken glass", be the cooldown to one of the most abrasive things i've ever heard really made it stand out. not sure if i'll return to the album in it's entirety anytime soon but that closer def getting spins in the future, even if it is 11 minutes.
again hard to rate this s*** but i'd say 8/10
