F*** it's so hard to get albums from this genre lol but whenever I stumble on something it's usually as good as this Adeva record!
Such a pumping album filled with great jive moments and the lyricism really stands out for a club record. So much to love about those pristine sounds. I really dig this wish I could get a physical copy

Just heard the self-titled album bro
Went by like a breeze! I love everything going on in there, her vocals are on point as expected - and the production compliments that proficiently, strings by Miguel Atwood-Ferguson were my fav inclusion to all that. The production delves into a bit of alt R&B; electronica and future soul and they are all my go-to genres so that was a nice surprise to hear.
I'm leaning towards a very high score for this one 💙

I love trapeze. led zep’s drummer: bonham was a big fan, he partied with the lead frontman a lot

The story of Glenn Hughes is crazy, fam. He influenced Chris Cornell & other legendary rock goat's. After his band experience went south, he started doing session work and landed the job as co lead vocalist/bassist for Deep Purple. (this is how talented he was, he could jump from a band like Trapeze and get the audition for Deep Purple beating out everyone)
But one of the crazy thing's about hughes, he lived to the edge in his life and his voice didn't PAY the PRICE one FRACTURE. He would party constantly drinking, crack, cocaine. He fell out of a Roll Royce and almost died.
David Bowie crashed on his couch for a year in LA. Bowie probably would have died if it wasn't for Hughes. Which is crazy because Hughes was wacked out on d**** as well. So a D*** addict was sheltering another d*** addict from his own down fall?
When I tell you Hughes was protected by angels or something, I don't think I'm exaggerating

The whole cliche born again christian 'ha ha ' we like to mock? It saved his life to follow that narrative.
Spitting real blood out his mouth, not one tone lost. Maybe it is the english tea, i have no clue.
He did a power trio with this man named 'Watt' who works with Post Malone.
Monster sound.... and son of John Bonham was playing drums and they just go right to the floor in terms of energy in that studio.
