Hyperspace 8.5/10
damn.
what makes you love the album so much? Can't find more to like about it besides the two songs that stuck with me on first listen, And I bought the vinyl already... :sigh:

Faves: North To South, Passed Me By, Dark Details
one of the more substantial albums in these modern times of Techno/House. Andy Stott, I tip my hat off to you sir!
you were right that cherry colored frank track is really something
but my fav is probably the last one "Frou-Frou Foxes in Midsummer Fires" absolutely amazing closer song god damn.
i think i prefer this one over BBK for now

Goat song pick, what a way to open and close an album huh?
Robert Wyatt - Shleep - 8.5/10

really otherworldly album and kind of hard to put its sound into words. very hypnotic and sounds like the cover with some occasionally breathtaking moments
Stepped back into my Sade bag with Love Deluxe
Also plan on going deep into Rolling Stones again. I Played Some Girls nonstop today

the genre is called canterbury scene, its a specific style of like prog rock + jazz and psychedelia that came in the early 70s. Robert Wyatt is one of the main dudes and has a big unique sounding discog. i got into it after listening to other kinda-similar progressive rock like Pink Floyd or King Crimson.
i use rateyourmusic a lot to find music, mainly searching the lists and charts
some people hate that site though, its super outdated and can be confusing
