His new music is definitely different but it’s good. I think that’s more important than rehashing Trilogy.

Not directed towards you but Ive always wondered why fans beg artists to go back to the sound of their first album. I understand nostalgia has a big part in it but it’s very counterproductive and artists that have stuck with their initial sound quickly became boring or have burned out. Exploring new sounds and challenging your fans is the way to go for better (After Hours, so far) or for worse (Starboy)

I'm not against growth, hell, I think Drake was pretty s*** when he started, I'm not one of those Take Care fans. It's just that Abel changed so much his music is completely different now. If at least he made interesting pop like Majid Jordan I would enjoy it but it's just bad imo. I also prefer his old vocals. MDM was a great call back for old fans but it's the only project I enjoyed since KL 5 years ago.

I'm lucky if I like a handful of songs per album now

KL was quite different from Trilogy and I loved it so again, I don't mind diversity in an artist, Starboy was just trash and BBTM was watered down pop and Trilogy, a bad mix.

Personally Im leaning towards New Jade.

Was a toss up between Magpie and Cloud Song really. The singles do slap but ive always lean towards songs that settles down, gets introspective and all
