had a fire couple of days

bitter lake. adam curtis doc on afghanistan.

amazing movie with curated soundtrack by massive attack. features burial, nine inch nails, etc. really adds to the movie. all of his docs ive seen so far are great. when kanye was going on twitter about trump back in 2018 he mentioned the guy's doc series century of the self. gonna watch that next.

watched it once when it first came out and I don’t remember being as funny as it was this time around

how was adaptation bro? have the dvd on me rn but Im hesitant to watch bc it seems like another kaufman meta story. synecdoche was so hard for me to get through

i actually think the meta stuff is the best thing about the film

i don't think its amazing, and it for sure drags at some points but it's still worth a watch imo

need to rewatch this. saw it in a bad mood and couldnt focus on the movie

The different interpretations of the ending make it so much better

Watched this movie for the 2nd time and I honestly F*** with Tom cruise thought he was gonna look corny playing a Dopeboy but after my 2nd watch I realized bruh adds a certain feel to the movie that makes it hilarious but serious at the same time
