Tatsuo Suzuki & Toshio Matsumoto are such a goat director-dop duo

carlitos way.
i was pretty disappointed. being another al pacino mob/crime kind of movie i had some expectations.
def wasn't the worst movie ive seen, but it was generic to me.
being such a godfather fan, all of the rest of the mob/crime movies aside from scarface havent really impressed me at all. once you see godfather and try to watch everything else its no comparisonn at all

decent movie by Stefano Sollima, same director behind the Gomorra series, ZeroZeroZero, and the Sicario sequel. this was a slow burn but the payoff at the end wasn't all that worth it. Sollima is one of the best at capturing the grittiness of the crime world in an authentic manner, but this wasn't as good as Gomorra or ZeroZeroZero. cliche soundtrack was annoying too, they heavily relied on the overused "Outro" by M83
