Maybe a masterpiece?
should read An Experiment with Time, influenced the movie (chronologically) and f***ed me up just as much as the movie
Saw thieves highway for the first time yesterday night, great film!
great indeed
no wonder dassin got blacklisted along with him being a member of the communist party. he really showed how ugly and evil doing business in america can be, even when it comes to stuff like peddling apples.

Corpus Christi (2019)
10/10 one of the best films I’ve seen ever. Great film about religion and prison. Set in a small town in Poland, an imposter priest starts preaching and gets involved in a community conflict.
some fire movies on this page, both top films of the year and timeless classics
just watched Possessor
Interesting concept and great cast but I, as well as many people, was turned off by the gore. felt unnecessary and brutal but I guess that's what Cronenberg Jr. was going for. liked it enough to check out his future films but was hoping for more
6.5/10
GBU feels almost juvenile in comparison
Agreed, boggles my mind how Tarantino and others can put anything other than maybe Searchers above it

Seen it at least ten times and it just keeps growing on me
Footprints on the Moon (1975)
Thieves’ Highway (1949)
The Bride Wore Black (1968)
Night Tide (1961)

(2020)
7/10
A little overlong, and implausible, but it's a slow burn, and I enjoy the way it starts out. A UK gem
Fury with Brad Pitt and Shia Lebouf. 8/10 movie for sure. Fight scenes are some of the best in war movies.
Wind River will go down as one of the most underrated movies of the last 5 - 10 years imo.
