Native Son 7/10
Kept me engaged the whole time and i wanted to like the movie more but all that trouble could have been easily avoided man

Haven’t stopped thinking about The Lighthouse after seeing it last week 10/10 film and close to my film of the decade. The Irishman was phenomenal as well, everything living up to the hype for me. Looking forward to Marriage Story and others
Comical

Brightburn: 7/10
It was solid and entertaining. Wish there was more context though.
Pet Semetary (2019): 7.5/10
Decent remake with great performances. The story was told better this time and with a better ending. However it’s just not as scary as the original.
Child’s Play (2019): 8.5/10. I loved it. Goes toe to toe with the original. So many fun gory kills. Probably the best Child’s Play movie since Child’s Play 2
Got these and various other blu rays at WM on Black Friday
on god this movie aged like milk and like wine at the same damn time. pacing hella weird too. the climax is at the end of the f***in movie
had me heated when i realized it was over.
4th wall breaks were cringe and the acting was hilariously 90s but the themes and the second half were great

classic. insecure men pay the price. the last 30 minutes or so f***in devastating.
500 days of summer.
story of a cheat
El Reino/The Realm (2018)
9/10
This is obligatory viewing guys.
Aronofsky-like storytelling, Fincher tension, Malick visuals, Sorkin dialogue and Refn soundtrack.
The ending is f***ing spectacular!!!
