Flawed but well-shot and edited film with a good central performance that suffers from some hamfisted writing and a sloppy final act. Could have been a lot better, but still worth watching.

D*** Jonson Is Dead 8/10

Kind of reminded me of The Act of Killing with its surreal reenactments of death, but of course nowhere near as sadistic. Heartbreaking and personable film with a premise that will probably make or break it for you. I really liked it and consider it one of the more creative documentaries I've seen recently.
