As many times as I've seen 28 Days Later, I never knew there was a damn "What If" post-credit segment

An underrated psychological thriller.

What's ITMFL about
It’s a drama/romance film. Days of Being Wild, ITMFL & 2046 is a loose trilogy. The former two films are legit
Fantastic coming-of-age movie. Dealing with narcissist is draining and Pete Davidson's performance as "Zeke" really sold it. The way they used "Mo Bamba" in the movie was also genius. There was definitely some moments that made me cringe - due to wishing the movie's younger main character would have made smarter decisions, along with Zeke.
Don't know what I would rate it, but I'd recommend it if you like movies like "Ladybird", "Yes, God, Yes" or "Superbad" (it's not as funny as superbad but its got the charm).
Got a couple more to see, but I think Hirokazu Kore-eda might’ve peaked early with Maborosi? All the others I’ve seen are great too, but this one has a little special something, especially since it seems trimmed of the slight fat that I’ve found in all his other films so far
Eureka (2000) was another really strong watch, didn’t 100% resonate with me but the music choices were stellar
Finally, I think Yi Yi might be my new favorite movie on rewatch. But I gotta rewatch A Brighter Summer Day too now

I’m actually gearing up to give shoplifters a rewatch as it was the first Kore-eda I saw a couple years ago. After Life, Nobody Knows, & Still Walking are all pretty damn good in their own rights too. I think Nobody Knows is most similar to Shoplifters from what I’ve seen, but After Life is a good recommendation if you’re interested in seeing a little more range from him bc it dips into magical realism

"I like to get f***ed up and do some f***ed up s***."
Did a rewatch of Ho1C. It's a great great movie. A TCM love letter with a flair. The ambiance jumps off the screen. Otis and Captain have some great dialogue too. Also rewatched Devil's Rejects and watched 3 From Hell for the first time. May do a post on them too.
8.5/10
Was surprised at how thoroughly affecting this was.
She was a standout in Fargo for me, and this movie is no different. 8.5/10
Watched these two back to back
A Bittersweet Life by Kim Jee-woon
pretty standard revenge flick. nothing too interesting or redeeming about it and I felt like there wasn't enough background on any of the characters for me to really care what happened. I'd say Jee-woon definitely peaked with I Saw The Devil, which had much more interesting characters and a more consistent tone.
