soon…how’d you like it
My first Kiarostami film I’ve seen. I really liked it, minimalistic but very meditative. Obvi some cultural context I miss out on not being Iranian but besides that I highly recommend.

I love The Great Silence so much, nice work

I swear McKay is one of the most overhated contemporary directors, reviews of Vice and Don’t Look Up made me think I was about to watch some horrible s***, but they both were great.
Bruh Spider-Man 2002 is so epic
I watched This Is 40 by Judd Aptow with a girl I'm seeing. HOLY F*** I HAVEN'T SEEN A MOVIE THAT BAD IN A LONG TIME.

It was basically the “I don’t want a daughter meme” the movie. Very disturbing tbh. Felt half horrible for the father, cus on the one hand this kind of s*** always happens to these ultra religious brought up families. Nobody has to see their kid like that tho. The film itself was okay, but the concept of the film was more thought-provoking than any of the writing, direction or cinematography. I liked that all the ppl from the town had Dutch names tho :)

I acknowledge all this ☠️, still love the movie for whatever reason, feels like it’s set in ‘taxi driver’ universe & George C Scott
