doesn't get much better than pacino in this!
70s and 90s Pacino is top 1 and 2 of all time
Chinatown - 10/10
The Piano Teacher - 8/10. First time back in cinema since October, missed it so much
Donnie Brasco - 7,5/10. Pacino had a point to prove in the 90s and this is another gem of a performance, alongside great showings by Depp and Michael Madsen. The fashion in this is crazy too
U.S. Go Home - 5/10. Cool music, couldn't enjoy anything else (not that there is much outside of the atmosphere it creates)
King of New York - 10/10
blow out (1981)
a country built on lies baby. so much more haunting, political, and pretty than i was expecting. also an all time ending man what the f***
Now watch Blow Up
I have two cats but it's a fact that they are a blight on the ecosystem and occasionally need to be culled
I think domestic cats (which we stupidly introduced) kill like 30 million native species a day in Australia where all the little rodents and birds evolved with no fear of predators of that sort
animals not species
real time capsule 1960 vs 2022 very different worlds
also finally understand why audrey hepburn is considered so attractive whew
Memoria let me down
yeah not much happened, atmosphere held my interest pretty well though, reminded me a bit of a film I saw last year In The Earth
The Bridges of Madison County - 10/10, cried
The Lighthouse - 8/10
Miami Vice - 7/10
The Bridges of Madison County - 10/10, cried
The Lighthouse - 8/10
Miami Vice - 7/10
Bridges of Madison County Top 5 Eastwood
Watched EL Camino. 7 or 7.5 /10
This movie was pretty good but it's not good enough to where i feel it needed to exist. Felt like it had a lot of cheesy moments that really didn't fit the breaking bad universe
(The dude offering to get jesse's car for free or Jessie's friend calling him a hero )
Also felt Jessies PTSD was a HEAVILY Underutilized and the movie would've been way better if it was just him trying to deal with that instead of having a villain with a corny ass cowboy shootout at the end.
Best parts of the movie for me we're easily the flashbacks the one with todd especially. Had the perfect dark comedy tone while also being heartbreaking that fits with breaking bad.
Feel like this movie had all the right things to be very memorable but decided to be a sort of corny finale that really doesn't fit the tone of the show.
