This movie sucked. Some of the acting was bad (especially David Duchovny), but the blame lies firmly in Judd Apatow's lap for the awful script and direction of this movie. The concept sounds good... it's Tropic Thunder but set in a pandemic bubble where the production goes to hell but the actors can't escape the bubble. That sounds like easy material to spoof on the pandemic and on action movies and the industry in general, and they got a good cast, but woof what a dud from Apatow's pen. Just not well written at all.

Not sure what I wanna say about this movie. All I know is that it made me feel different things. More so than other romance/dramas like Blue Valentine. It’s not the first time I’ve seen a movie about finding yourself amongst the messes of life from relationships, career, health but this movie just did it well I think. Also wanna mention it was beautifully shot. The scene where they do shrooms was kinda crazy lol
I’m usually a rom com kinda guy but movies like this I also love.
