4/5 This was so good. I'm a sucker for coming of age themes and small town America and this combined those two so well. McConaughey knocked it out of the park and the two kid actors were really good too. I think the last ~20 minutes or so were a little out of place but it didn't hurt my overall enjoyment at all.

I think Jason and Amber saved this movie. Not sure if I will watch a sequel without her, thought the rest of the characters were boring. I don't need more Orm at all.
