Just Mercy
S*** got me fuming
Pretty investing and emotional
Movie is on a real story but keeps it morally
doesn’t hammer you too much with plot, leaves scenes to breath in and some s*** is pretty heavy man, got theater silence and applauding at the end which I never experience outside of SW nerds getting hyped before the movie starts
Brie is still a waste of space but thank god she isn’t too much in this
Hereditary 8/10
Really dragged towards the end and kind've unoriginal with it scares but cool story about family and mental illness
Alps - 7/10 it was pretty great but the ending had me unsatisfied. trailer had me thinking it was gonna be something totally different but im not that upset about it. I'd still suggest watching.
You Were Never Really Here - 10/10 Phoenix is my favorite actor and he delivered. Character was very relatable. I liked how they didn't show too much violence but just enough. The cut scenes for that were pretty smart.
The Square - 8/10 Funny. That's pretty much it. The whole story of the woman and the main character was pretty irritating and unnecessary. She was not important to the plot imo otherwise she'd be there more.
Being John Malchovich - 6/10 it was funny at times. the main guy is just sad
Togo - 9/10 It'd be 10/10 if it didn't have so many blurry surrounding scenes. That made the world around the characters seem very fake. I'm not sure how much of this was shot with green screen, but it seemed like most of it.
Ford v Ferrari - 8/10 Not much to say about this one but I did enjoy it and was sad by the end. heartwarming and kinda funny movie.
If you couldn't tell, all i do is watch movies

8/10 !
-funny/witty
-acting is stellar, everyone sells their character so well
-aubrey
the stalker psycho role is right up her alley
The Man Who Wasn't There (8/10) is my first Coen film in over a year I think, have most of them watched by now (no Hudsucker, Intolerable Cruelty, or Ladykillers - True Grit maybe deserves a rewatch too). It reminds me of A Serious Man but more universally rather than spiritually concerned. I like it a lot: very funny, beautiful music, occasionally oppressive atmosphere - what's not to like.

Mikey and Nicky
fusion between John Cassavetes and Peter Falk
They live by Night actually had a lot of potential too
cinematography was extremely solid but the film itself kind of drags and i wasn't super keen on farley granger. might've actually rated it half a star too high lol
Masculin féminin (8/10) I like everything I’ve seen by Godard, 9 films so far, but Alphaville. I don’t necessarily separate them too much, everything feels like a piece of a larger, provocative yet opaque picture.

Love Exposure (2008)
Saw this last week and it still pops up in my mind. Such a creative and bizarre movie, never seen anything like it and I don't think anything will ever come close to just how insane this was.
Anyone see it?
Daddy Longlegs - 8/10
Safdies are the next goats
Harold & Kumar Go To White Castle - 2/10
Idk why i watched this
