stoked for the second one. They seem to be building a great story!
The Last Samurai
8/10
Incredible performances by Tom Cruise and Ken Watanabe. Great action sequences and cinematography. All around just a great epic movie. I hadn't seen it in years but once I started it came back to me, a really well told story.
Lawrence of Arabia
11/10
Gets better every time.
The Asphalt Jungle
10/10
One of my all time favorites. Marilyn Monroes first screen appearance I believe. An all around noir classic, one of John Huston's best.
The Killing
10/10
Maybe Kubrick's most overlooked movie.
Happy quarantine

I found it via the director‘s site. Due to the virus it was free to stream for 2 weeks. Currently Urbanized and Objectified are free, Rams documentary is coming in a few days
Honeyland works as a drama just as well as it does a documentary- the film’s subtle ethics+visual depiction of the honey-extracting process really made me want some. And there’s a donation link on the website that promises to send honey, so I’m eager to get that whenever it arrives!

It's 5 in my list out of the 8 ive seen so far. And it def aint on the level of the 4 films ahead of it
Contempt - 4.5/5
The argument in the apartment was a little overbearing for me but overall a gorgeous film. Not a big Jean Luc Godard fan historically but I really enjoyed this one.
Making Bridgette Bardot wear that suspiciously familiar short black wig during the marital spout cracked me up though
