Man what
love the shots and aesthetic of the film, the story itself was pretty whack.

A really good movie that’s faced with the impossible task of capturing the full scope of Jackie Robinson’s baseball career and his impact on sports and society as a whole. Film would have to be like 5 hours, but they still did an okay job of showing the importance of what he did. Great acting. Awesome period piece. An very emotional. A few corny moments, but it’s an inspirational sports movie, so it has to have that. Great way to introduce mainstream audiences to his story, but a little frustrating at times for people like myself that have studied his life and career.
Candyman

Horror classic. I can go on for days about how great this film is. Incorporated Black people and racial issues into the horror genre like no other film had before. Blazed the trail for Jordan Peele. (Jordan Peele is producing the 2020 remake)
Truth be told
I haven't seen a movie in such a long time that I don't remember the last movie I just sat down and watched
It really makes u appreciate the movie watching experience tho
Taxi Driver 7.5/10
Moonlight 6/10

someone explain the parasite hype.
saw the movie and it was really good but man some of these ratings out here making it seem like it's the next coming of christ or some s***. Infact the ending was a bit lame. still doesn't top Memories of Murder for me but very good movie.
think ppl were starving for another korean film to take it to the masses again, but parasite was p good ngl.
Good Boys | 3/5 - Not as funny on second watch. Still has it's moments.
A Good Woman is Hard to Find | 3/5 - This could have been the female version of Drive. The middle just drags though. Movie is good otherwise.
Foot Fist Way 4/5 Hilarious, one of my favorite performances from McBride even tho I’m not much of a fan of his comedy minus Eastbound And Down
Jojo Rabbit - 7/10
Can you explain this film a lil bit
Nazi propaganda doesn’t sit well with me

it's about a 10yo kid in Germany during WWII who wants to become a Nazi, has an imaginary Adolf Hitler as his friend, and finds out his mother is hiding a Jewish girl in their walls
It's definitely not glorifying Nazism/Hitler, it's definitely ridiculing their beliefs/him, and while it is pretty funny, it also takes the horrible crimes of the Nazi party pretty seriously and uses it for some tension/drama too
