How and why is this what rap is today and then the one guy who can make good music is throwing away insanely good songs?? Maybe it’s time for me to throw in the towel on rap.

I agree with you for the most part but DaBaby is incredible. Post Malone has some great songs too, just don’t try and lump him in with rappers because he’s really a pop artist

i'm just not seeing the connection here. you didn't get one song so now you're forced to listen to rappers you don't like (most of which have some solid tracks in their discographies)? kanye just dropped the whole album so you could just listen to that instead of those other guys.

The charts are filled with absolutely terrible rap music and I hear throwaway tracks from Kanye that are amazing. It makes me upset because its very very very difficult to find good music right now. Does that clear it up?

to be honest its not even so much that a guy can rap or cant rap. I can go right down in the street here in Detroit and find 100 guys that can rap better than anybody on the radio today. Its about making good music and good songs. The new wave makes songs that are in your car speakers for 2 weeks then out. The songs all sound similar and theyre replaceable. Nothing like a kanye west album/song

So Kanye not releasing Last Name forced you to listen to these guys? Dig deeper, there’s plenty of great rap music out there today.
