Those who are utterly serious concerning bringing about change in themselves and humanityI believe, and I’m doubtless you agree, that both in ourselves and in greater society, be it in government, business, education, etc, behaviour is not continuing as it should. The culprit being the human psyche. Those whom I need this to reach won’t require any further explanation.
Despite what’s continuing, and the recognition that it needs to stop, only separate individuals and groups have taken the severity to heart and are committing themselves to taking action to better society and our environment.
Similarly many groups and individuals, through countless and wildly various means, are striving to better themselves.
Even though these efforts are undoubtably making a difference, the difference is being offset in a huge way by the prevalence of the ego or hurt psyche of the majority.
It’s my belief that, although change on the personal level is entirely an independent endeavour and is the only necessary and sufficient cause for change on the greater levels, change to the collective human psyche that can ultimately lift us out of the darkness requires huge, perhaps global, participation so we do not fall back into our old, destructive ways.
It is this lasting change to the collective human psyche which is the directive of the brotherhood I’m proposing.
Following on from above, members of the brotherhood are united in the common awareness that we are neither in full control nor using the control we have beneficially on either level, namely the personal and societal levels. This and the inevitable arising of the drive to deliberate upon a solution to bring about serious lasting change are the only prerequisites to becoming part of the brotherhood. As such it is through this group I hope to actualise change, not in each individual man, but the whole being of man, such that the transformations can be passed on through hereditary and societal inheritance and become a permanent quality of man, rather than, as they are now, the active striving to better the consciousness of a few isolated groups of man later becoming diluted by the greater unconsciousness, much like an ice cube in a hot tub.
My wish is for the brotherhood is firstly honest and open discussions strictly on this subject. Discussions on topics such as what these changes should be, how we can actualise them and what means we have at our disposal.
We have to take responsibility for our mess. Absolutely everyone has to take responsibility. We’re all connected, now more than ever. We’re all living easily, now more than ever. How can we engender in everyone this drive to overcome their limits, their ego, heal their hurt psyches and allow forth their Love? How can we engender in everyone the will to take responsibility for themselves?
