What are ur favorite leather jackets and what recommendations u boys got?

Love the silhouettes/designs of Wooyoungmi leather jackets but I can't justify the prices

Been looking to pickup a nice vintage G1 flight jacket for a while

bump, trying to find some reasonably priced one myself atm 👀

only thing I'm seeing is 15% off though - you think the jacket at $180 is the best I can do or should I wait for a sale?

Also did you size TTS?

at the time there were more and my credit card had 5% cash back for paypal transactions. i went up a size but im like 70% copping size smalls and 30% medium so its technically not sizing up

fivestarleather.us .. don't mess around with other BS unless you want to dig on ebay or forums for used jackets, and theyre hardly good deals these days.. five star does good stuff some of their customers have even sent them very high end jackets to have copies made and they sell those pattern copies as well..

Nah i havent bought from them before there's a lot of threads and fits on the website fedoralounge most guys get them bespoke and alter the measurements to fit better. If you dont want to do that just measure a jacket you already have and compare it to theirs

also just a tip for any leather product really

if it doesn't tell you the animal it comes from ie sheepskin, cowhide, etc. you're probably getting very s***ty quality "genuine leather"

Also: 'hide' is bigger and thicker pieces of leather, 'skin' is thinner and smaller pieces. Doesn't necessarily mean anything regarding the quality of the material if youre spending a certain amount of money but at cheaper pricepoints it can make a difference

well ya but I was hoping it still felt/fit decent. Im gonna spend 1k on one jacket

if you're looking for that rider style in particular, i'd look for a used schott

it'll be way better quality and long term value than the uniqlo undercover

this Our Legacy one is just chefs kiss

if it ever goes down to 1k during sales i'd cop so fast. 1.7k is just a little out of my range

This is easily gonna go on sale for less than $1000. Probably gonna be more like $600 on sale

i constantly check every site that carries ever since it dropped

Just got one that’s one size up if one I’ve had for years and love. Gotta fix a tear on the back but that means imma sell my old one. I’ll take some pics soon but it’s by the defunct company lac la that made basically replica slp jackets. Super nice leather quality tho
