Not sure about leaving/not visiting any longer, but I do recognize that the main threads are very predictable (?) in a way depending on what your frequented section is. It'll usually be the same-ish takes, interactions, 10-20 familiar faces, discussions, bait, social media narratives, etc., and that does get pretty draining. There are still some funny outlier experiences like "classics" here and there though. It's been this way for a long while now and has ramped up this year especially.

I think if you aren't already in a friend group that transcends this site (bring back the KTT discord S!), then you're just going to have to get used to interacting with recycled habits and patterns, and that can definitely feel exhausting.
