Its about training the brain to react less. So I can see a fox news or some s*** segment in passing to understand their beliefs but I eventually stopped reacting as much because with them it is what it is. When you start experiencing racism and ignorance so young and you grow eventually you just stop giving it so much energy unless its directly affecting you or you need to address it

If there really is a secret organization in charge of the world that's sneaking satanic messages in music videos, what can you do about it?I think the flat earth thing is prolly symptomatic of the lack of forums to discuss certain things and instead just “accept” things. The reality of that being that it’s like a 300+ year old discussion. But like I said there’s a lot to find out about people if you look at why they might be prone to believe the flat earth stuff.
But there’s literally nothing that can prevent anything from being changed more than not talking about that thing being changed if that makes sense lol.

Exactly you want to see why these people think this without taking it literal. Like America needs a show about hearing beliefs you disagree with without reacting or giving the person energy. Just hearing what got them to that point. Problem being often even hearing an idea people disagree with they take it as "enabling" or "platforming" like the idea doesn't exist in their heads and many heads around America and the world either way.
Some of these conspiracy and contentious topics we just need a way of discussion on a wide scale to make any sort of progress. Should it be the way Ye did it ? F*** no. But they are things that need to be addressed otherwise the same cycles will continue with 0 chance of clarity or understanding.

Don't know I didn't really follow him like that and his audience had been niche even before that incident but he definitely one some of that side respected. Like silencing people you disagree with think are crazy or stupid too much can just lead to their audience feeling they are right or doing some fake persecution. Rather than just addressing things with truth
A good example here in USA is wikileaks and how it was handled acting like the only damaging emails in there were Hillary Guacamole recipe and that everything else was conspiracy. When if you remove the partisan bullshit there is a lot in there and rather than hold government officials accountable it became about getting Assange, Snowden and Glenn Greenwald or acting like they all work for Russia
In the end its about how you address things. Jewish, Black, Asian, Mexican, Muslim communities got to heal to unite to see we aren't truly enemies unless we are turned against each other by force due to "resources"

they are saying when Ye says "black people focus on race too much" . When I think the root of this is partly he feels disapointed in black people being stuck in cycles of slavery be it voting for democrats and accepting the minimum, supporting black lives matter and getting so invested in black trauma. Rather than seeing ourselves as something stronger so even though he words it like absolute dog s*** when he says "Jews have their people" he means they look out for each other, have ownership, dont see each other as direct competition.
he is only narrow sighted in the fact that we grow up in the same neighborhoods so the isolation partially creates that when someone is so close. Also different levels of protection, policing and investments in the community. Same as his idea on Abortion often missing the class level of being able to afford a birth. He kind of focused on the pleasures and risk we take as black people vs the rewards we see in reality
