I like the original it’s a fun movie for sure. And it’s cool Lee is trying something new, not everything has to be a dramatic character study, just surprised he wants to tackle a sequel

A reboot doesn't seem bad at all.

The original was terrifying to me as a kid. Watched it so many times tho.

Could be refreshing with new faces encountering a terrifying disaster that we all know too well, with moderate nods to the original through names, landmarks, roads, etc.

Making it a sequel when the negative force is realistic weather issues just seems a little odd.
