Also get a tag and collar for the guy with his name and your phone number. And if he ain't microchipped yet I'd get that done soon as well.

For me my cat just naturally doesn’t go near the outside doors. I feel like I got lucky in that regard.

@op id get some super tasty treats for the guy and start training him to recognize his name and come when called. People say u can't train cats and it's super hard to get them to sit and stuff like that but they love food just like dogs and getting them to know their name and come when they hear it called a lot is key. So if the guy gets out u can try and coax him back to you with treats.

Bro why he don’t eat any treats unless I mix it with his dry food? I left some treats in his bowl and came back from lunch at the treats are still there. I filled his bowl a little with food rn before I head out again and I know when I come back later on the bowl gon be empty with the treats eaten too
