Everyone always wants him to just release a part two of these but he is evolved and ascended now 👽🌐

there's bits and pieces of every era still inside him

Despite what people want to hear I DONT think he has any parts of CD, LR or even much of grad in him.... they are dated in my opinion (here it comes)

LR is my fave. i respect your opinion. i think some pockets and flows he gets into, his playful lyrics, pull me back to those old albums sometimes. just sometimes of course

I hear it on songs like DONDA (production wise) and lyrically on songs like NPILA

follow god reminds me of some classic ye too with the beat and delivery at times

ascended? nah everything he’s put out since has been lower in quality just admit it

to me, late registration sounds the least dated of all of his albums

aside from the dusty features no part of that album sounds old, it sounds fresh as f***, live instrumentation will never go out of style

I think this album way better than TLOP but not as good as MBDTF or yeezus. TLOP my second least favorite ye album tho

At this point of his career, we just need TLOP. Something enjoyable and take the good with the bad..

Now if he decides to surpass that level than kudos to him, but I’ll take whatever quality songs we can get at this point. And judging from the last listening party, there will be many great songs on Donda. Will it be perfect? No but who cares

I don’t have Yeezus that high on my Kanye album lists but that’s a debate for another day lol

The whole theme of everything is very dark and raw (almost unfilitered) like Yeezus to me. There’s multiple parts where he’s messing around with that industrial hip hop sound as well. It’s not a perfect match though, hence why I said a mix between that and TLOP. Donda is a lot more intense and emotional for me than TLOP for the most part though.
