I agree these people have all impacted & transcended hip hop

In terms of skill you’d have to sub out Drake & Kanye with Kendrick & Little Wayne

In all fairness this top 5 list is subjective

    who is little wayne?

    Top 5 are personal opinions
    So it’ll always be debatable

    1. Drake
    2. Tie between Jay Z and Future
    3. Wayne
    4. GZA
    5. Biggie

    Opinions over facts of course

There’s too many factors for an all time top 5. For example, I wouldn’t put drake in a top 5 for artistry or skills, but you’re lying to yourself if you’re denying his impact and run.

Nas, Jay Z, Kanye, Andre 3000, and Wayne is a more fair top 5 I would say if we combined all the elements of longevity, staying power, impact, quality, and influence

Yeah his impact on the charts is undeniable, but that’s literally all he has.. commercial success

you seriously think he is not top 5? Kast was huge, has one of the best rap discogs of all time, literally have one of the biggest rap songs ever made, 3k is clearly one of the most talented musicians in hip hop we ever seen who still shows his versatility today with how he can effortlessly body any modern hip hop instrumental.

In every metric, 3K is goated.

    The Top 5 overall are

    Biggie
    Tupac
    Jay Z
    Kanye
    Drake

and Wayne and Em could possibly be the 6th, but the top 5 guys are a clear cut above the rest.

    LMAOO you cannot be serious.

LMAO Drake’s job is to turn whatever is hot right now into the most catchy, least offensive song possible. Most of his discog consists of music for women to put their makeup on too

    “Top 5 in artistry”

Forgot the odds , who has even reached that endurance, 17 platinum albums, never before. Clearly he’s a cut above the rest. Admit it you’re just playing the devils advocate

That’s a huge and excellent feat but let’s not act like Eminem or Drake couldn’t accomplish this
