It probably does honestly.
The only bills that are important to politicians are those that help their biggest donors. They make a bill aimed towards working class people and add a bunch of s*** they want, then Republicans cry about rich people not being given breaks or some other dumb bootlicker s*** and by the time it's time to vote it in to place, they've stripped nearly everything those people wanted, but kept the s*** that the people in charge want (and the working class couldn't care less for).
It's like with every good thing that gets done, 4 bad things get done, one of which contradicts or nullifies the good thing that was done...
I believe something out there is actively trying to keep people down, especially those who aren't already up. It seems like life in this world is like a big series of tests made up by an evil teacher where you are rewarded whenever you comply with the status quo, and if you don't, or can't figure it out, you're quietly brushed away and get trapped into the class of poor people who are considered lazy or dumb, regardless of who that person actually is.

Yes corporate/profit prioritisation, lobbying, keeping the status quo etc. is all over politics no one disagrees with that. But even that is a complete nightmare with a kaleidoscope of variables that changes at every turn. I guess it's easier to fall into that conspiracy territory if you're an American as the average US citizen is so far away and disenfranchised from any sort of political agency. But it's a massive oversimplification.
And yes people are actively trying to keep the majority down. But they don't meet secretly in the shadows to get it done. It's all out in public.
I just think massively simplifying politics in a way that only generetas apathy is counter-intuitive. Even if it's a meme about Kamala.
