At age 42 still a high selling artist with changing the vibe of the album every time without chasing hits
How he still has 35+ million monthly Spotify listeners
How when Follow God was #1 trending on Youtube when the vid dropped
But they still try to say the boy irrelevant music wise
They called Ye a flop but it's been streamed over a billion times
Ye still popping even with the some of the nonsense he's been saying
How many other 40 year olds doing this :word:
blows my mind to think he’s been a big mainstream artist since 2004/05 and still haven’t lost a step
Kanye West is the greatest music artist of all time. I'm tired of people comparing him to oldheads. He has outclassed everyone else.
I love that you could bring ye out at a concert in 2004 and 2019 and the crowd would go equally as insane
That Forbes cover was just confirmation.

I mean he went from almost a million first week with graduation to 250k with JiK. He was outselling everyone back then. Him doing what he did to 50 would be like if he dropped the same day as Drake nowadays and outsold him. Not happening. So he's lost a bit of a step.

I really just mean as far as popularity is concerned. He ain't gonna be #1 over several artists. Back then he could've dropped the same week as anyone and outsold the hell out of them

No he wasn't Ye was big but he was always smaller then Em and such.
He had a small period of power but it wasn't long and 808s killed his sales for the rest of his career. It was plenty of big artist that coulda outsold Ye then he just avoided them.
Grad was his one time as the kinda top dawg
