After Kiss Lands lukewarm reception he was dismissed and most thought he fell to the wayside
The next album had 3 #1 and had 2 years shutdown in terms of hits
... good for him I guess
Every year people say he’s over like every year even this year, his a real forbearing
When he dropped My Meloncholy niggas said he was finished
nobody said he was done when mdm dropped what
I don't know anyone who thought he "fell to the wayside" unless you only like mainstream stuff. Kiss Land was seen as a decent follow up to Trilogy but got slept on by the masses
The Weeknd’s disco post trilogy is pretty solid. It’s not perfect but it’s very successful and has great runs in it. Feel like most conversations about The Weeknd veer on extreme takes tho.
He's had the world at his fingers since Can't Feel My Face what the hell are you talking about op
