is this you @Elric ?
@FlyHiii 2 stars for Antichrist?
I liked the visual look a lot but story went into a less satisfying direction by each passing minute
Then Willem Dafoe starts shooting blood out of his PP and i was just done
Idek why cause i can handle the most bizarre stuff in films generally speaking but this made me feel sick and i just felt angry watching those sequences near the end
I just hated the direction Von Trier went in
Florida Project/Tangerine/Red Rocket director @Elric
Ah yeah Red Rocket wasn't bad
if you like red rocket you're a pedo
also have a handful of Polanski films in my all time list

I liked it cause it reminded me of my mom. How you can love someone, and then they turn into a complete force of nature, a monster who wants to destroy you. Like, are you still able to have empathy when you’re hung on the cross? The tragedy of Defoe’s situation moved me. But maybe I watch it again and he becomes more villainous. I didn’t understand the ending but something felt cathartic about it. Felt like a movie which followed its logical conclusions.
just realised that Letterboxd updated the language tag/filter options. Meaning that if click on language:german it will actually show me german movies instead of Inglorious Basterds etc.
LETS GO
