Anyone else have this problem, seems like whenever I buy a new pair of Levi's and break them in after a few wears they stretch in every direction? They get longer, the legs get wider, the waist stretches out a few inches and the ankle cuff area gets way out of shape. It's basically like they go up a whole size. My waist was 35 inches when I bought it (I measured to see) and now it's 38. how do yall take care of yours and stop mine from getting out of shape. I hand wash any stains and never use the dryer for them
I also go through 3 pants every 6-8 months because they just get too wrinkled even after using an iron.
I'm starting to think Levi's is trash or if this is a common problem on all jean brands that I just never noticed. What brands yall recommend switching to? I prefer 98% cotton or above which Levi's is also getting rid of more and more over time
Mine did have a "stretch" on the tag but I didn't think it'd be this crazy they were tight at the store now I'm using a belt
best place for vintage levis?
Buy vintage Levi's. Or get into the selvedge cult.
I looked that up and have trouble understanding what exactly the difference is. Flat seams? Is that it? I might purchase a pair but they're all very expensive so I don't know if it's worth it. Lots of people on YouTube praise them
If you own any owm do they compare to the 511? Talking about the feeling and softness

Levi’s just trash buddy,as far as I can remember from the last time I bought a pair(which might be around 2015),build quality for all Levi’s were decent but the fits across the board was trash a good number of the time.
They’re just regular jeans. You’d have to spend more to get the quality & fit u want. Try allsaints or naked & famous, they’re pretty good 👍🏽

I have the opposite experience. They keep getting smaller after every wash. Might just be me putting on a couple pounds

why not freeze them ?

Shouldn't put your jeans in the washer imo
why not freeze them ?
That’s bro science. You gotta wash your jeans with soap if you want them clean

Yeah, I usually let them soak in the tub with some soap. It’s just easier to throw them in the wash
I don't know much about denim but Uniqlo and Express make some pretty good stretchy denim for me

all modern levi’s you buy in stores are stretch, it’s really annoying. you buying stretch without knowing?
You gotta get into vintage Levi’s. Unless I’m buying into a designer vintage Levi’s are all I need, especially for classic American blue jeans or washed black jeans. You wanna aim for made in Canada or made in USA Levi’s specifically.
Buy 100% cotton... and buy the rigid or STF models, they’re the best Levi’s currently being produced. Levi’s Vintage Clothing is nice too if cut is super important to you...
Real 100% cotton denim is a tough material, wash them when they get dirty don’t put them in the freezer, hand wash them if you’re really that worried.
Buying vintage is a great option to, there are a few companies making them better than vintage right now...
