It's not for everyone, although it's safer for others and a background substance
Moderation but I get it, it can get addictive and you over do it, becomes a crutch. It's your relationship to it and asking yourself if you're abusing it like you would abuse sugar or literally anything else

Yes, you can't trick higher power(s). Unless it was to defend yourself or thwart psychic or spiritual attacks. But will say this, there are better ways to approach or solutions to try before hand
Again unless it's completely necessary, best to avoid putting out an energy you rather not be the receiving end of
I.e. If someone was attacking you, sending you evil eye or targeting you and it's getting to a point where it's unbearable -- you can either get back to yourself, center, recalibarate and get back in tune with self which is absolutely possible and doable
Or preserving your energy, defend yourself and send that energy back to sender
Best not to go around and starting or throwing chaos since it'll come back to you in one form or another
