Bring back female main characters

The first LIS is an absolute classic

The problem with LIS2 lay more in the strength of the writing not servicing the characters as well as it did in the first game (or the plot overall truthfully, but the game's still fine for what it is), not particular the gender but go off I suppose. That and I commend Dontnod for at least trying their hand at a somewhat substantive and relevant political commentary (albeit flawed/basic in execution) instead of going back down the teen white girl problems route again

LIS1 and BTS are classics though.

Gotcha. I say if you've gamepass on Xbox, it's worth giving a shot at least. It doesn't reach some of the incredible highs of the first one, but it still has some fairly good moments imo. Plus the first game is sort of referenced in it (mostly in the last chapter when a character from LIS1 pops up)

I’m on PS4 and Switch mainly so I doubt I’ll ever play it because I don’t want to spend money on it.

Played the bonus episode, Farewell. Such a good episode. Such a great ending to LiS 1. Deck Nine did such a great job capturing the atmosphere of the original 5 episodes. But their music choices are much better imo.

Finished the first Episode of LiS 2. It's different, more of an adventure, more beautiful visually but it doesn't grab you like Episode 1 of LiS 1. But I can't wait to find the time to play the next episodes.

Excited for True Colors but at same time the art direction and some of the characters design look a bit... meh imo. Especially in comparison with Dontnod's work.... but I liked the first two episodes of BtS and Deck Nine looks very passionate about the games so I'm obviously still in.
