I cant wait to be 25. A solid career or at least money. Beard should be fully through, I DONT look like a teenager but a grown ass man. Prolly gain a couple of inches You can do anything you want and you not too young or too old.

I’ve given this some thought and I think the reason for this mentality is my dad was always comparing me to himself at what and always going on all these lectures that would last even an hour back then and it was always the “when I was your age I ____” type of s*** which imprinted in my brain that I’m not good enough so many times that it just sped up the midlife crisis. And I couldn’t even tell him that it wasn’t good to do that and even now I can’t cause he doesn’t know a thing about mental health. I barely talk to him about anything anymore. He calls and I never answer. He even saw me drinking tryna visit and freaked out. Tryna admit me. I just lied and said nothing was wrong as always to shut him up. I know he probably cares but the damage is already done and if I do kill myself one of these days, only then will I ever tell him anything. Just so he explicitly knows he caused it. I know I sound like a female with daddy issues but that’s how I feel

i hear you but you arent forced to settle down, you just ready for it bc you've prolly been litty before you reached that age. But at 25 you should have stability and have figured yourself out mentally already. Your personality is fully formed, now you can fully face the world.
