Surprised to see a thread hasn’t been made for what could very well be a generational game

Damn it’s literally no mans sky in a fantasy world. The logo even looks similar. Neat callback

Has the potential to be leaps better than NMS cus the game’s world ain’t procedurally-generated

I’m definitely more interested now. Procedural generation was a cool lil experiment but I prefer handcrafted worlds

even after “fixing” no mans sky, it’s still just a mindless progress bar simulator. not sure how anyone can have faith in what this studio says or does

Yeah LNF needs some solid narrative framing and engaging quest design to make the experience more meaningful.

I dropped NMS fast cus s*** felt pointless to play On top of that my game was bugging (played it back when the next-gen versions just released).

The visuals and worldbuilding in LNF made me want to keep an eye on the project though.

    S*** I was dead wrong.
It literally says in the trailer that the world’s procedural

I confused myself cus of the whole "one Earth" thing lmao f***
Apologies for leading you on like that

Knowing it’s procedural actually made me manage my expectations a bit. This could just end up being a fantasy No Man’s Sky on house arrest (since we’re stuck on one planet).

    House arrest lmao
Nah but maybe they learned some lesson from procedural generation and also since it’s only one planet they can fine tune it a bit better
