Executive produced by Salma Hayak this is a television adaptation of the novel and film of the same name from 1992. The story follows Tita and Pedro as two lovers forbidden from being together by familial traditions. Tita is only able to express her feelings through the food she cooks leading to a series of surreal moments in which the characters consuming her food are able to experience the same pain or joy Tita felt when cooking it.

Meant to start this but I’m hesitant bc I really really like the OG movie and this looked kinda cheap in comparison. Anyone see it yet?
