UPDATE:
Not like anyone is actually listening to his music in 2026
Saying this with an ice spice avy is insanity
I don't understand how they lasted 10 years on streaming in the first place. Half his songs are over other rappers' beats. No way was he getting his samples cleared. Was he even paying producers? Maybe Certified Hitz and Keyboard Kid were getting their %, but what about some random guy who produced 1 song off Glassface when he was 15 years old? There are hundreds of people who could have complained and gotten these tapes taken down at any point in the last decade. In fact you would even need somebody to lodge a formal complaint, these days streaming services have automatic detection systems in place for copyright infringement.
I mean none of it’s good but it’s a historical institution that deserves to live
Opinion of someone who's heard 3 lil b songs

I was with the hoes listening to lil b when you were being beaten mercilessly on the playground. Our paths are not the same.

I sold his team beats once, it was legit but the gameplan seemed to be that they buy mass amounts of beats at perpetual ownership from teenagers for chump change and then just sit on them forever

I haven't been beat up on the playground in months

Pull up. Let’s change that.
Pull up. Let’s change that.
You ever step foot in Nantucket it's lights out
Good thing I had most of the 2009-15 discog downloaded locally anyway
But those sample clearances are gonna be a b**** to deal with
I've noticed it's always soundcloud era zillennials like zenirama (formerly f***withthis) trying to downplay Lil B's influence. I think they are insecure that their whole swag comes from a guy who was considered a 'meme rapper' when he debuted
