YANDHIthe rankings kinda useless now outside of the obvious stars or peers from the same eras
newer stars like Baby can do in 3-4 years what it'd take a decade for a Nicki to do. its still a testament to them being hot its just a bad comparison now with there clearly being a split in eras and charting methods
once i saw Uzi last year had 30+ placements without having a real big hit single i knew s*** was done lol. For these guys every song on each album pretty much has to chart or there's an issue

Like I hate to sound like an old head but son does not have one iconic song in my honest opinion. He can rap but all his songs sound the same sonically. He just needs a “Carter II era” to make him stand out imo

Yes, he has been especially post IYRTITL. You could literally mismatch songs from Views, Scorpion, the other projects and the project would practically be the same.
Drake has a formula, it works, so he keeps doing it. Lil Baby has a formula, it works, so he'll keep doing it.

I'm a fan of the recent album but not Born Sinner or 2014 FHD. If you want to argue those, fine. But My Turn Deluxe went nuts and was played all last year HEAVY.

KOD is still a good album and better than My Turn. 2014 FHD is one of the best rap albums of last decade and Born Sinner is solid.
My Turn is cool but it’s a bit much to say that album is better than most Cole albums

He doesn’t sell noticeably more than his peers no 1, he in that gunna, durk, uzi, polo g etc range of 100-160k first week for starters
Also he has as much streams as Gunna, 27 million each. That’s a lot but not drake or travis levels even
The answer is he just really is on feature streak lol dnt read into it and start comparing him to kendrick and drake lol
