    90 songs that charted*

An album track entering at #87 and then leaving next week is not a “hit”

    Honestly lmao

Great for him, honestly s*** kinda wrong to even compare any streaming era artists’ numbers to any pre streaming stuff. We need to make a cut off like BC and AD and let the streaming records be streaming records and sales records be sales records

This s*** crazy, wtf is this

Also yall are really over inflating the fact that he features a lot and jumping to hella conclusions

He doesn’t sell noticeably more than his peers no 1, he in that gunna, durk, uzi, polo g etc range of 100-160k first week for starters

Also he has as much streams as Gunna, 27 million each. That’s a lot but not drake or travis levels even

The answer is he just really is on feature streak lol dnt read into it and start comparing him to kendrick and drake lol

I still feel like he could be there if he comes with the right music. maybe not now but in a year or so

Drake isn't versatile though... He's been making the same songs over and over. If people like your music, it is what it is

    Awful take

He has 90 in 4 years. That means he will surpass drake as well

His run will end before Drake's

My turn sold 197k first week and outsold The Weeknd album overall last year. And his music sticks around way longer than uzi. Durk not even in his class he just gave Durk his first #1

He’s still closer to uzi than he is to a drake or kendrick

Idk people base too much on first week sales.

    Take drake out of it.

If Kendrick and baby dropped in the same month Kendrick would double his first week. But by the end of the year I would put my money on baby to pass him in overall sales.

His music just has more replay value and his songs have legs.

    Twist Your Cap

This hot 100 metric is just so skewed now lol

Been saying this for 4 years now

  • It’s crazy Baby could pass future by February depending if he drop an album by then.

Bro what u cnt be srs

And even if magically tht might happen again there’s a huge difference with someone like baby who people hv no idea what his album cuts are

I put my money on the 27 million listeners kendrick has per month (which again highlights the difference again, he and baby are tied after not releasing for 4 yrs and never doing ft, if baby disappears for 4 years his following getting slashed in half) having an idea on most the deep cuts in his album

My turn deep cuts arent fueling his popularity, its the 2-3 hits and features man, he’s been on every album past 2 years and just dropped a collab

Some ppl are trying to downplay this but it’s impressive as hell no matter how you look at it. Everybody else from this era has the same streaming advantages as he does, yet he’s the only one who achieved this

  • Jun 15, 2021

His name is up there with the greats, it is what it is.

Its like Jame Harden or Luka playing in an era with inflated numbers. Can’t change it

  • Jun 15, 2021

Streaming era numbers don't count if you ask me
