The difference is if your white and saying or doing smth racist you do it with all the power of the system behind you
racism is systemic and only affects minorities. it goes deeper than calling a white person a cracker or whatever.
but i do think all forms of bigotry, or just singling out people on skin colour alone, making sweeping generalisations about people, isnt the way to go to create progress. its hardly worth the effort to justify it by saying its not ‘real’ racism.
Weird dictionary u got there
which is?
the systematic oppression of minorities.
but if you believe that your race (or any other race) is superior to other races then you are by definition racist.
and dont get me wrong im NOT claiming that one is not worse than the other

oh no lol. i know what it is, i was just asking which example in my post u were referring to
i mean he’s not wrong but he’s not right either, racism doesn’t work like that, he’s describing prejudice
well pretty obvs i am sure all cultures have something negative to say about one another
i was family gathering a week ago now and the amount time i heard n word get dropped or something offensive to Muslims was a lot (they usually like this) and basically dismissing BLM (their reasons were bullshit some random republican could make better argument). Idk this time since a lot this s*** has been happening it rubbed me wrong way i didnt bother say anything tho as i was hung over from night before and i didnt wanna get into argument
Weird dictionary u got there
why? we cant be pretending oppressed and non-oppressed groups are feeling it the same
also i may have to stop as im talking to a guy with a tony blair avi here
Personal racism isn't exclusive to any group. Systemic racism is largely exclusive to the ethnic majority or a ruling ethnic minority. Not all that hard to parse.

No, prejudice is the predisposition to judge someone based on a preconceived notion or judgement you have made about them.

Your family casually dropping the n word like that?
Your family casually dropping the n word like that?
yea unfortunately my parents weren't but my family lets say are bit crazy + they were loud as s*** so whole neighborhood could probs hear them
I've seen black kids say of white dudes driving through the neighborhood that they need to get the f*** out. Not to them but just at them.
Had relatives ask me about college like, "Them damn crackers ain't being racist up there at that school is they?" Like, in that same vein you're also showing disdain based on race. But I know it comes from a place of defensiveness as opposed to innate vitriol hate, my being a black dude in Mississippi.
It's all a defense mechanism really. I feel it's important to understand why it is that black youth feel uncomfortable when a white person is in their area.
We know the reasons why white people feel uncomfortable when black people are in their neighborhoods, much of them based on racist stereotypes. But are the stereotypes of white people the reason why we feel uncomfortable with white people in our neighborhoods? Or is it white people's history of violence, gentrification, and ability to get police on their side immediately that would make us feel that way?
why did you censor cracker
I didn’t know if it was censored or not
I remember trying to type the hard r but it wouldn’t show it so I assumed they did the same with cracker
Personally, I feel that it's crazy how a white person can enter a predominantly black neighborhood and if at any moment they feel threatened because they are afraid they can call the police and potentially get a black person killed in their own neighborhood on some wrong place, wrong time s***.
Now flip the races here and be honest. Do you believe a black person would have that same power if they were in a predominantly white neighborhood and called the police if they felt threatened?

I just been calling them cacs to bypass all that

Weird because I thought the site had always censored cracker like all the other controversial words
If u try and twist definitions ur just trying to end up with south africa situation @scoop
I think it is really hard to act racist against white people. Because there are not really that many opportunities in life where you can actually oppress them.
But yeah, in theory, you can be racist against any race.

South africa
When a white person claims someone black is being racist to them their feelings don't even be hurt, it's fake outrage 9/10 times. Racism is the only thing white people want to be a level playing field
