This isnt true lol. He was mainstream before drake. Jcyw2 went gold. Lsfts2 sold like 60k fw. He just wasnt a superstar in rap to white america but he was mainstream.

It's real odd seeing all these new durk fans on ktt2. A part of me wants to be happy hes appealing to hipster white people but another part of me simply realizes some people just following trends.

i mean it's not bad. he's just more popular now. popularity itself is kind of a trend too you know. and this is bringing attention to all his old music too, even to Chicago artists that have been killed getting more plays bc of Durk's recent popularity. I doubt Durk is getting mad that ppl wanna listen to his music now

nah I'm a huge drake fan, but the STTS3 & JCYW2 run is what elevated Durk. Drake feature helped, but it was JCYW2 that did it and that even put him in a position to where Drake put him on a song
