older ppl looking at younger ppl isn't always about control and that perspective assumes there's some sort of linear progression throughout all of life of understanding it, being able to affect it, and somehow becoming better at manipulating others' lives as a result (thus the older person can control the younger)
the progression exists but it def ain't linear; some 22 year old women got more maturity than 40 year old dudes, some 40 year old women are lost af. it's just not a simple a -> b conclusion that old ppl dating younger are doing it to control them. bro's more likely just h****

Every guy that's 40 or 50 doesn't want to f*** someone that looks old as hell and it's weird to seemingly lock them with a high age. Some settle and some want to do whatever and it's nothing inherently wrong with it so long as they aren't infringing on boundaries in a nefarious and predatory way.
The age gap is obviously still weird (I personally wouldn't do it, as others), but it's legal at the end of the day and both people are adults that can make the decision on who they choose to pursue relationships with.
If Duval is wrong and gross then so are these young ass girls (a lot of them you see aren't even over the age of 18) who seemingly broadcast wanting an old ass nigga to pipe them for money (uwu s-sugar daddies pwease DM m-me...), and they would all need to be shamed.
