should be bannable or have thread making privileges taken away if you knowingly leave s*** out of a post just to get a dopamine rush for having multiple posts in your thread

it’s called baiting, and op definitely lost thread-making abilities for it

Nah i dont agree Hot take if your parent is abusive and abandons you then you don't owe them help he did more then most.

Children aren't parents and hotter take nutting or popping a baby out doesn't equal a parent either.

Where is the source on his mom having abandoned/abused him?

I believe parents have responsibilities over their kid always, they're the parent.

The rest boils down to values and culture...

Imo there is a point where the child becomes an adult and has to assume responsibilities vis-à-vis his family and community

When your parents aren't strong enough to support themselves and their parents are dead, I think it isn't much to ask for help from their children whom are adults as well - imo that's normal

If you join a homeless shelter as a volunteer - you don't get to refuse a person care cuz they abused/abandoned someone this

The notion that it makes it "okay" based resentment/trauma not to help out when you are in the positon to do so-I don't agree with

I'm not for walking away when a person needed help you were able to provide but decided not to, based on harbored negative feelings - I really believe there's strength and joy to be found in being able to do the opposite but that boils down to personal beliefs

The argument that one shouldn't put themselves in stressful situations or harms way by maintaining relationships with abusive individuals (family or not) - I strongly agree -

however I feel like those cases are extreme and not representative of lil nas x and his mom's alleged situation

Shame on all of y'all if that is Lil Nas X mother. She shouldn't be in the streets. She obviously has issues if she's begging for money.

LNX is literally the source. his interviews on her have been posted itt multiple times. it would really help your posts if you read up on things before speaking on them.

Seems a little bit of a stretch to start calling someone a rapist or rape defender from this

Those kind of comments usually lead to some kind of sexual harassment.

Okay so you'd be making a thread off of a single meek mill comment and then creating info out of thin air to bait and point fingers

Yeah there's a reason you don't have thread making privileges

And there’s way too much unknown to be saying “well he or she should be doing xyz”

Family matters can be ridiculously complicated and no matter LNX has said in interviews we still don’t know the full story or extent of their relationship. Best to just withhold judgement

No, I want to make a thread about a goofy problematic thing Meek said on Twitter.

All I read itt was her being an addict thus not having a close relationship with him

I understand that neglect is abuse

however I don't think she intentionally did those things

We're blaming her for having been an addict so he has no reason to help her???

    Cool.

Like I said this boils down to beliefs essentially

I'm not mad at people thinking it's okay the be vengeful towards your parents for having failed, I just don't agree

Also just read that he tried to help her before but it's not working out apparently - I hope his mom and him can heal one day from this

he literally stated he paid for expensive rehab for her already but she didn’t do well in it

he tried helping her. she refused. dudes itt want him to restrain her & force her to not sell all her belongings for d*** money. he can’t do s*** to help her if she doesn’t want to be helped.
