That's why Im not so against Black People saying out of pocket stuff towards Asians.

They make hella generational wealth in our neighborhoods and still treat us like we dont belong. Even when you go in Chinese spots the set up is super protected from their end almost to an overboard level imo.

Now, Racism is wrong regardless of who does it, but I do think society overemphasizes when White People do it and underemphasize when Asians, particularly Chinese and Indian people, are racist towards Darker Skinned people.

Even within the term "People of Color" it's like Black People are on the outskirts of that inclusion sometimes imo.

I got a new job in January with a street marketing company, usually for concerts/musicals/plays. It usually entails going to stores/restaurants/ect in an area from a predetermined route sheet and asking if I can put up a poster for a local upcoming concert or lay down some flyers somewhere.

It's usually pretty damn chill but I swear almost any time I have to go to one of those asian nail salons/dry cleaners/restaurants they look at me crazy like I'm gonna f***ing rob the place as soon as I walk in. Or they're rude as f*** like I'm gonna put up a poster for some wild s***, it'll be something like a Chicago Symphony Orchestra concert lmao. Like even white people in the f***ing suburbs with no black people for 50 miles are way more kind to me when I have to go to those areas.

At this point I usually just skip those places because they're almost always a pain in the ass or a waste of time. I don't hate asian people, but it's pretty sad how they look down on black people before they even say a word. I'm black so I'm obv used to being judged by people directly or indirectly in literally every interaction but it definitely has me looking at some things different.
