Like does being unconscious for this long necessarily mean irreversible damage (vegetative state or paralysis) or can you be out this long and recover fully through rehab? I had a friend shot 4 times and the bullets hit his kidney, spleen, etc. he was out for three days after intensive surgery but is in pretty much constant pain and had to abandon his boxing career. But he woke up a lot earlier than this.

Some people have been in coma's for months and woke up.

It can actually be beneficial in the healing process in certain traumatic events

Based on the places he was shot, its not looking good. I think the lack of updates is also a bad sign
