Happy LIR2 day I know for many of the OGs from the KTT1 thread we were amazed with the project at the time and getting to post my real-time reactions to the album with some of y’all was an experience I’ll never forget.

While it isn’t my favorite Uzi project mainly cause I had so many expectations for songs I wanted on the album going in (ending up disappointed and soured me on the project as a whole) it’d be hard to say this isn’t a great album and I enjoy every song besides one on the album (UnFazed is a huge letdown for the first Uzi x Weeknd collab). The Deluxe took s*** over the top for me though Loaded was a great addition and 20Mins is easily a top 5 Uzi song for many (probably top 10 for myself).

Not much more to say besides that it lived up to the spirit of the OG, was a great ending to the Brittany x Uzi storyline within the lyrics, and some absolute iconic Uzi songs were released on it. While there is definitely some mixed feelings on Uzi nowadays, I think back to this time and just how excited everyone was for LIR2 after XO and remember the feeling of following the whole rollout process and all the great snippets and songs we got in the in between of 1017 and LIR2. Great time, great album, and you should go spin it today.

Looks like Uzi is giving K Lee more time to mix this project thankfully, if it’s as clean as his previous works that’s a great sign. No idea when the drop will be cause mixing can take forever but I’m excited that the vocals and s*** are done and that we will likely be hearing about a date or promo for the album within a month or so
