Sad to see Uzi morale at an all-time low like this, in some ways this is even worse than the backlash following Sasuke because at least that song was conceived as a clear throwaway one-off vibe instead of a lead-single to an upcoming project

Although I liked Demon High on initial listen, now only a few days later, I have absolutely 0 compulsion to return to it

Here's hoping he makes the right artistic decisions for the Pink Tape and is surrounded by the right kind of people

Although it's difficult to assess what goes on behind the scenes, I am starting to get the sense that Uzi has burned some quite critical bridges over the years and is now restricted to a limited bubble of producers and industry-heads

Whether it be ruined relationships, his own insecurity or simply just his own lack of drive, he just isn't connecting with the right people

Demon High flopping, mv didn't even crack 2 million views and the song is dropping hard on spotify charts. Who in this nigga team decided to make this the lead single? Uzi fumbling his career fr s***s sad to see.

I just think there is almost no winning at this point really. Go back to old style, new fans get turned off, long time fans who want progress are out, old fans love it and immediately forget about it and it tanks after. Mostly rapping didn't work with half of EA and Fewtch collab, Fewtch collab specifically did poorly. Now we seem to be on the hard melodic and its just what every other rapper has been doing since he helped inspire it years ago so its a resounding thud when he makes a step he should have taken years ago before others ran with it and ran it into the ground.

And the detractors are just getting louder, the lead single is just a slap in the face to everyone besides the most casual fans and actual children. No appeal to the fans that want the rap, no appeal to the OGs who want songs that rival his older music, even the casuals seem to be ignoring it so its looking VERY bad.

Video and song aren't even meme worthy so theres no chance for it to blow in an unintended way. I just dont see a way that theres a redemption and reinvigoration in the near future without a surprise drop and the quality of the tracks are just great all around. I think if any of it can be seen as mid (or even bad), people are gonna s*** on it and give up. EA is absolutely the hard turning point where the hate became apparent but if this s*** doesn't prove the haters wrong, we are on the hard spiral downwards.

I just don't see any progress and clearly the people in his circle arn't challenging him anymore. Its just so bizarre with Uzi taking the fan criticism to heart, how he can be coming like this. Worst part is so many good songs have been previewed and we just never seem to get the majority of them. Outside LUVTW2, snippets are basically a death sentence for any of these songs releasing nowadays.

This fake song made from an IG snippet posted on a fake Uzi youtube page (also deleted once and now reuploaded) had almost 3 mil views the first week it dropped and Uzi's promoted official lead single hasn't even broke 2 mil in half a week, this s*** is actually embarrassing man.
