EA? That s*** was chaotic, I personally enjoyed the LIR2 rollout more even outside the delays cause it was like the first release after XO where the fanbase had grown a massive amount and the hype was palpable. The whole EA rollout was f***ing miserable up to the end of 2019, Uzi clearly seemed like he was in a bad place, Twitter rant/falling out with people “quitting music” talked multiple times about how he hated things behind the scenes, just seemed way more negative along with him feeling like EA was a failure after and talking about the leaks ruining his original idea for it. Was the most turbulent era by far

Don’t know if this got posted but it was a random single dropped on a mixtape by Kawhi Leonard. Completely missed this

Definitely surprised it didn’t get more traction. Baby Pluto was the only song that did specifically well on EA, all the other songs that blew up were on LUVTW2. I think it was just a weird time, like lockdown for COVID in the US started the weekend of the first drop and after the mixed reception to Futsal I think people’s attention were kinda elsewhere after the first couple weeks. Definitely think if more people went back they’d enjoy EA if they wrote it off immediately

Celebration Station and Bigger Than Life were really left as untapped hits

With a music video, and a bit more push, they definitely could have gained a lot more traction
